36lb 5oz (16.56kg) Chinook Salmon
This Chinook (King) Salmon may be the largest OFFICIALLY weighed Salmon caught on the south shore of Lake Ontario in the past 20 years (or more). It weighed 36 pounds, 5 ounces (16.56kgs) and was caught aboard Salmon Limited Sportfishing Niagara by Calvin Austin (left) guided by Captain John Mastrandrea in 2020.
